Was invited to dinner here by a friend and came with a party of 4. Before our reservation, I had done some searching on the restaurant and saw it was a "scene-y" place to have dinner which normally deter me as I found based on my past experiences. This usually means the quality of food and/or service is sacrifice, but that was not the case of jeans. We were promptly seated for our 9 PM reservation and immediately began to peruse the menus. I had a wonderful Mezcal drink, and the rest of my ordered various cocktails as well. We then ordered the oysters, tuna carpaccio and beef tartare to start. While the size of the oysters was disappointing (so small!), the tuna and beef were incredible!! For our mains, we shared the Bistro Burger, one of the highlights of the restaurant, and the special of the day which was a pasta egg yolk dish. Both were absolute perfection. Having heard about the famous chocolate chip cookie dessert, our party was hoping to have ordered that, but we were informed they did not have it on the menu so instead we opted for their summer dessert option of a peach cobbler, which was so delicious. One of the better ones I've tried outside of the dining in the South. The restaurant has lots of music and plenty of young people talking with dark, ambient lighting. You'll come to realize many of these young people, the later you dine in the evening, are hoping to then enter the underground club below. I had the opportunity to go Myself, and although it was a Thursday evening, the party was just getting started. There was plenty of space, great lounge seating, as well as free water and endless funky disco. No one was using their phones, and the majority of the crowd was either socializing or on the dance floor, which was great to see. I would absolutely come back - to both the restaurant and the club!

This place was extremely good. The service by Nash was amazing. The ambiance was great. The restaurant is aesthetically beautiful and the food was delicious!! I had the caviar sandwich and the lobster rolls with truffle on top. It was delicious! My boyfriend has the cheeseburger and was in awe. It was perfectly cooked and look amazing. He said it was one of the best burgers he had. We finished off with the cookie topped with bourbon infused milk and that was definitely the perfect choice. I will be back asap!

I spend way too many evenings there. Highlights : - Off Broadway (Passionfruit Foam Cocktail) - Beef Tartare on Milk Bread toast ! - Thai Chicken Salad - Tuna Carpaccio - Chicken Dish (Wasn't huge into it the first time but had it again and it's quite perfect now) - Bolognese - Big Cookie - I'm not a burger girl but if i was a burger girl it'd be Jean's I'd say the reason I go there as much as I do is more for the vibes than for a transporting cullinary experience but the food is always delicious, very well executed classics. Service is also always on point altough it sometimes does take a bit of time to get the table when it's a weekend night but then we just end up hanging in the bar area and it's not a big deal to us.

I didn't have high expectations here but left feeling satisfied. Cocktails: Dirty Jean's (they add Birds Eye chilies to their brine for this spicy dirty martini) was arguably one of the best martinis had in nyc. The KP Mai tai was refreshing, but didn't taste as much as a Mai tai as I was hoping. Food: Caesar salad had great flavor and loved the deconstructed presentation. The lobster rolls are a must- the bisque shooters are flavorful as well. Burger was cooked medium and had a decadent amount of cheese. Somehow not too greasy. The tagliatelli bolognese was maybe the only dish that was just okay (could use more seasoning and sauce) Couldn't leave here without trying the huge chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Perfectly gooey and there is bourbon milk to dip it in.

Jean's is a great new spot on Lafayette Street next to the Public Theater. In fact it has become a bit of a "TikTok" sensation. Jean's is a great addition to NoHo, particularly near the Public. The cocktails are creative and excellent. The menu is limited but very good. The service and ambiance are both first rate. The cookie is an amazing dessert. We will be back!

The restaurant portion of Jean's is finally open, after it has been operating as a nightclub for quite some time now. It goes without saying that this will be a place to go for vibes, but the food also happens to be amazing, featuring fresh ingredients from owner Max's farm in New Hope. The Tuna Carpaccio ($22) is an absolute must to start, a sis the Thai Chicken Salad ($16). Get the Chitarra Pesto ($21) too as a starter or mid-course, before you get the must-try Bistro Burger ($24) with great fries, and a really good French Dip ($42) too. Lastly, don't leave without the Big Chocolate Chip Cookie ($12).
